Be kind, play fair, have fun.

Playing

JellyHop is free to play as a guest. Don't cheat, automate play, exploit bugs, fake invitations, attack or overload the servers, or use names that are hateful, sexual or impersonate others. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behavior. During a run you can report a player and block them so their name and emotes are hidden for you. Reports are reviewed. We may remove names, disconnect players, correct rewards gained through abuse or block abuse to keep the pond fun for everyone. If you think a restriction is a mistake, contact us.

Progress, accounts and cosmetics

Guest progress is saved on your device and can be lost if you clear its data. Optional Google, Discord, Apple or Steam sign-in saves your progress across devices where that provider is available; each provider creates a separate account. Use the same provider each time, and keep your provider account and private keys to yourself. Levels, trophies and cosmetics give no gameplay advantage and cannot be exchanged for money. Game balance and content may change over time.

Donations

Donations through Buy Me a Coffee are voluntary support for the game. A verified donation unlocks the cosmetic Color Shift; a refunded donation removes it. Payments, receipts and refunds are handled by Buy Me a Coffee under their terms. Nothing here limits consumer rights you have by law.

App purchases and restoration

On iOS, Color Shift is sold through Apple's in-app purchase system as a non-consumable cosmetic. The app shows the available product and localized price before you authorize payment. Sign in to the account that will own the purchase first. Restore purchases uses Apple and our server to recover verified ownership; use the same Apple purchase account and game account. We do not transfer another account's transaction merely because someone knows its ID. Pending approval, an interrupted connection or payment-provider outage can delay delivery; the app retries unfinished delivery. A refund or revocation removes the entitlement. Apple handles App Store billing and refund requests; Steam handles its own purchases. Account deletion does not itself request a refund. Nothing here limits your applicable consumer rights.

Sharing and other services

You're welcome to share the game's link and your own screenshots and recordings. Please don't use JellyHop's name or artwork to suggest you run an official service. Apple, Steam, Google, Discord, Buy Me a Coffee and our hosting providers run their own services under their own terms; JellyHop is independent and is not endorsed by them.

Open-source library and font copyright notices are available under Third-party notices.

No warranty

The game is provided as is. Live runs are held in server memory and can end during a restart or connection problem. We do our best to keep the pond and your saved progress available, but can't promise it will always be available or error-free.
